We thank the largest Volunteer turnout of all the ramps for this Operation Beach Respect: Dudley Green #12807, Dave Gresens #9440, Jon Tolbert #12812, Mike Robbins #1223 and Catherine Robbins. These folks made a morning of this volunteer effort and we are all thankful for their efforts.

This is how its done! The lady on the left is Michele Horrigan and on the right is Deb Gardiner both from Chesterfield, VA. Photo was taken on Saturday September 25, 2010 at Ramp 44. These ladies took our request to remove trash from the beach to a new level. The nylon bags they removed from the beach are the remains of the large sandbags that were used to secure the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse prior to its movement to the present location. If you see the VA plate "DRUM" say hello to the ladies.

Ramp 49: Frisco Campground Entrance

Jeff Graves #13370 and President David Joyner #5678 remove a large container from Jeff's Subaru that was found on the beach filled with garbage. Jeff attended his first OBR after seeing the article on the NCBBA website. He came from the Akron, Ohio area solely to support the OBR and the Association. Yes, the concern is real and we applaud Jeff for his comittment to NCBBA.

The East Family: Son Dale, Dad "Froggy" Pete and Mom BJ.

This was Rod Palmer's #12252 first OBR as the Chairman. Pete East has been the OBR Chairman many times and provided endless support for Rod and manned a ramp as well. Pete, You're the Best!
