Does being a member of NCBBA mean I can drive on the beach? PDF Print E-mail

Any licensed driver can drive on the beaches in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreation Area as long as you enter and leave the beaches via designated ramps. If you're interested in driving anywhere else on the beaches of the Outer Banks, you should contact the township in  question as many towns have different regulations. (ie: Some require a paid permit. Other beaches are closed to vehicular traffic during certain times of the year.)
